A seasoned business leader and entrepreneur with a strong technical foundation and a proven track record across healthcare technology, medical imaging and executive leadership, Paul began his career in 1992 as an engineer at Auckland Hospitals Oncology department, where he designed, repaired and maintained Oncology and operating theatre instruments and equipment. He later transitioned into medical imaging technology, specialising in ultrasound equipment repair, servicing and relationship management. This hands-on technical experience provided him with deep, practical insight into clinical environments, medical devices and the critical importance of safety, reliability and precision in healthcare settings.

Building on this technical expertise, Paul moved into senior sales and leadership roles, ultimately progressing to CEO-level positions in one of the worlds largest Healthacre equipment manufacturers, and later as the CEO of a major hospice. Across his 33 year career, he has led organisations through growth, transformation and innovation, working across both public and private sectors. His experience spans strategic planning, operational leadership, stakeholder engagement and bringing complex healthcare technologies to market.

As Director of NZ Rad Solutions, Paul brings together engineering expertise, imaging knowledge and executive leadership to support the delivery of trusted, data-driven radiation safety solutions. His leadership is grounded in integrity, transparency and a commitment to improving occupational health and safety for healthcare professionals and patients alike.
